If you wander through any of our classrooms between 8:50am and 9:00am, you’ll step into one of the most important parts of our day—Morning Circle.

Each Morning Circle includes:
Morning Circle is more than just a routine—it’s a safe and supportive space where students and teachers can connect openly, build trust, and strengthen relationships. It encourages students to practise kindness in their interactions, curiosity in their thinking, and creativity in their ideas.
This consistent and predictable start helps students feel secure, valued and ready to learn. Through these simple but purposeful practices, students develop important social and emotional skills, learn to work collaboratively, and build a strong sense of belonging within their classroom community.
Morning Circle has become a vital part of the Somie Rise way, ensuring every child starts their day feeling connected, confident and ready to thrive.
