Work Habits

Both Sprint Feedback and Semester Reports will highlight students’ work habits on a 5-point scale. 

At Somerville Rise we have identified the main areas of the classroom that impact on our students' learning. These are broken into the categories of Behaviour and Effort.

Classroom teachers and Specialists will provide feedback on students Behaviour and Effort in Sprint Feedback and Semester Reports. Within Semester Reports, Classroom Teachers will assess students through the following Teaching and Learning Expectation Statements:

• I come to class ready to learn
• I behave appropriately
• I take responsibility for my learning 
• I am respectful
