Camps

Students in Year 2 attend a day camp at Somers Camp. Students are involved in activities such as orienteering, low rope courses and mini golf.  Their day will start at 8.00am with breakfast at school, followed by an outdoor activity before leaving for Somers Camp.

Students in Year 3 & 4 attend school camp at Briars in Mt Martha biannually. A range of Outdoor Education activities, including giant swing, flying fox, low ropes, archery, hut building, dip netting, photo trails, a guided night walk, initiative activities, campfire cooking are all offered and we will be entertained by ‘The Music Man’ on the second night. All activities are planned and supervised by our school staff in conjunction with qualified instructors from The Briars.

Students in Year 5 & 6 attend school camp at Phillip Island Adventure Resort biannually. A range of Outdoor Education activities, including Circotron, canoeing, Giant swing, flying fox, low ropes, Koala prowl night trail, orienteering, archery, boulder wall and campfire cooking are offered.

We visit the Chocolate Factory, ‘Amaze ’n’ Things’ which includes mini-golf, a maze and a house full of optical illusions as well as visiting the Koala Reserve at night.
