Welcome to Term 3

Welcome back to Term 3! We hope all of our Somerville Rise families enjoyed a safe, relaxing and well-deserved break and are feeling refreshed for another exciting term of learning.

Term 3 is always a busy and rewarding time in our school calendar. Throughout the coming weeks, our students will continue to build their knowledge, skills and confidence through engaging learning experiences, while our staff remain committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-informed teaching that supports every child to achieve success.

This term, we look forward to celebrating a range of exciting events, including Book Week, Education Week activities, student excursions and camps, sporting opportunities, and many classroom celebrations of learning. These experiences complement the outstanding work taking place in our classrooms each day and help create the rich and connected school community we are so proud of.

As a school, we continue to strengthen our focus on our instructional model, ensuring every lesson provides students with clear learning intentions, opportunities to think deeply, collaborate with others and receive timely feedback. Our commitment to continuous improvement remains strong as we work together to empower every student to be their best.
