Principal Message Term 4 2026

Message from Matt Jackson, Somerville Rise Principal 2026✨

Welcome to Term 4!

Welcome back to all our students, families and staff for Term 4 at Somie Rise!

It is hard to believe we have already reached the final term of 2026. Term 4 is always an exciting time at our school — a chance to celebrate how far our students have come, enjoy some fantastic community events and make the most of every learning opportunity before we wrap up another wonderful year.

There is plenty to look forward to over the coming weeks. Alongside the learning happening in our classrooms, we will celebrate our students' achievements, prepare our Year 6 students for the exciting transition to secondary school and begin looking ahead to welcoming our new Foundation students and families for 2027.

As always, I encourage our students to continue demonstrating our Somie Rise values of Kindness, Creativity and Curiosity. Whether it is having a go at something challenging, supporting a friend, asking a great question or simply bringing a positive attitude each day, the little things make a big difference.

Thank you to our families, staff and wider community for the continued support you provide our school. It is this partnership that makes Somie Rise such a special place to learn, grow and belong.

Here’s to a fantastic final term — let’s finish 2026 strongly and make Term 4 one to remember!
